Kellie Martin, an American actor and director of films, is popularly known for her roles as Christy Huddleston on the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the drama about families Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Kellie Martin is best known for her role as the main character in The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin, born to a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her professional career in acting when she was seven. Her aunt who worked as a nanny to Michael Landon's children helped Martin land a role in 1983's show "Father Murphy". Her professional career began following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her being offered major parts in both the television as well as the film industry. Martin is also as a dancer and photographer. She is a mom of two, and also the face of Lupus. After her sister's tragic death at the age of 19, Martin has worked to educate people about Lupus and its symptoms.
